2018 Dodge Challenger: Perfect for Winters

The Dodge Challenger is perhaps the last true muscle car available on the market. The modernized Challenger, which takes on the Camaro and Mustang in the retro-turned-modern sports car segment, is often considered closest to its original roots. To this day, it continues to be a car that turns heads and attracts attention.

According to the experts who have had the opportunity to drive the Challenger since its return to the market, it’s a model that offers the most authentically retro driving experience. It also most closely recalls the original model on which it is based.

If you want all the fun that comes with driving a muscle car but still want the modern equipment and technology of today's vehicles, the Dodge Challenger is definitely worth considering. It even offers an exclusive and welcomed all-wheel drive option.

Challenger GT: A Dodge Challenger AWD

With the Dodge Challenger GT, the owner will get all the performance features that make the Challenger so great to drive in addition to an advanced all-wheel-drive system. The system means you can drive in winter and summer with complete stability and confidence. Neither the Camaro nor the Mustang offer an all-wheel drive system.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger GT is powered by a 3.6-litre V6 engine that develops 305 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. This is the entry-level engine, but you’ll agree that there’s nothing "basic" about this powertrain.

Of course, if you want even more performance, opt for the HEMI V8 engine, which is also available in the Challenger lineup. The name HEMI has reached a virtually legendary status in the industry, and the Challenger SRT, with its 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, is truly an example of incredible automotive engineering. There are two other versions of this engine available in the SRT Hellcat and Demon models that are more powerful than just about anything you’d find on the road.

There’s also an HEMI engine version with 375 horsepower, which is powerful enough to reach 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds.

There are various versions of the Dodge Challenger for every need. Learn more today at Dumont Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM.
